The mission is simple: to get as many trees planted as possible. One dollar = one tree.
As a school, we use a lot pf paper. This project will help offset the impact we have on the environment and let us as a school, do something good! The Stone Valley Environmental Science Class would like you to consider donating your change, whether its coins or paper, it will add up. We have a goal of $1 per student. Please donate in your Core Classroom. Donations will be accepted in classrooms through Friday April 27th.
This web portal will allow donations from home. If you or your parents would like to push us towards or even over the goal, please do!
Planting trees is a simple and effective way to help the environment. Trees help clean the air we breathe, clean the water we drink, and provide habitat to over 80% of the world's biodiversity. Forests provide jobs to over 1.6 billion people, and provide health in so many ways. (One quarter of our medicines come from trees & plants!)
