Free Wheels Adventure is a new way to make a positive impact while traveling the world.
With the increasingly important need to find balance between humans and nature, Free Wheels presents a solution. By utilizing the most ecological mode of transportation available: the bicycle. This is a revolutionary opportunity to enhance the classic journey by adventuring with a purpose.
1 Km - 1 Tree is the initiative proposed by Free Wheels Adventure. At the end of each trip, Free Wheels will plant one tree for each kilometer traveled by bicycle plus any additional trees sponsored by locals.
Our first journey will take place in one of the most beautiful country of the planet! New Zeland!
From south to north, from west to east, this magnificent land of unspoiled nature will be entirely traveled by bicycle with an Eco purpose.
Free Wheels Adventure brings 1 Km - 1 Tree directly to the people. Locals who meet riders during their journey will have the opportunity to get involved too. By “sponsoring a tree” they will ensure that an additional tree is planted upon the completion of the ride, thereby contributing to the effort and spreading awareness surrounding the issues that face our forests, environment, and planet.
Taking care of our planet concerns us all. We depend on a fragile and increasingly damaged ecosystem due to climate change caused by human activity. Climate change is no longer just a threat to our children or grandchildren, but to our own generation. Free Wheels proposes a simple, but revolutionary way to help our home.
It has never felt so natural to take care of our planet as it does now, on a trip with Free Wheels Adventure. We combine extreme adventure with environmental education and action through a journey that brings its riders closer to their only home: planet Earth. Discover and help your world while at the same time re-establishing a balance between it and yourself. With the 1 km = 1 tree initiative, and the On the Road philosophy in mind, long trips will bring you enlightenment and pride, knowing that with every kilometer you ride, a tree will be planted.
